All ready for trail users and the next big storm

Rattlesnake Rock Removal

This ton of fun fell directly on Rattlesnake Canyon Trail during winter storms leaving only 6" of  usable trail

Wedges and shims placed to break the boulder apart

a crack beginning to form on the wedge line

after pounding the wedges and shims all that remains are several large sandstone cubes

a couple of hours later the trail was clear
